Before you write

Tiremusu works by reading session events from Claude Code and Codex. If a session is not showing up, or a permission is not reaching the notch, it is usually one of these:

  • The agent is not connected. Open Settings → Agents and check the status next to Claude Code or Codex.
  • The session is not in the list yet. New sessions appear within about a second; ended ones stay visible but dimmed.
  • Permission is disabled. Check the agent's own settings — if the tool's hook is disabled, Tiremusu never sees the request.
  • Tiremusu is not running. If the app is closed or has crashed, the hook exits silently and nothing is queued for later.

Removing Tiremusu completely

If you want the app and its changes gone, do this in order:

  1. 1Open Tiremusu → Settings → Agents, and use Disconnect for Claude Code and for Codex. This removes only the hook entries Tiremusu added to your own files, and leaves your other hooks untouched.
  2. 2Turn off Open at login in Settings → General, if it is on.
  3. 3Quit Tiremusu from the menu bar icon.
  4. 4Delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Tiremusu. This removes the session history, identities, hook socket, helper, and the settings backups.
  5. 5If you kept your own backup of the agent config files, or want to restore the originals, the copies Tiremusu made are in the backups/ folder inside that deleted directory. Copy the one you need before you delete the folder.

What to include in a bug report

Your macOS version, the version of Tiremusu shown in Settings → About, which agent you were using, and what you expected to happen instead.
